Horizon is a unique financial management application that uses a one-of-a-kind calendar interface. To record income and payments, you simply click on a date and enter an amount. Horizon gives you the ability to categorize your incomes and expenditures, repeat re-occuring events, and quickly summarize everything between any two points in time.
You can hide and show different categories to focus on different aspects of your finances. You can move back and forward through time to see what things will be like next month, six months for now, or next year. Horizon provides the following special features: Simple data entry: just double-click on a date and enter the value. Drag and drop to move copy/cells. Build equations with almost no typing, using point-and-click references. Use relative references, such as 'yesterday', 'last week', 'last month'. 'last year'. Easy to use functions to total, count, average, and find highest and lowest values for a range of dates. Simple repeat system for regular daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly entries. extensive on-line help in Apple Help Book form. Brand new in version 2.0: edit-in-place data cells, simplified, 'infinite' repeats, a new equation editor, a new animated calendar navigator, and much more! Screenshots

The MacOS Sierra Compatibility List Jun 14, 2016 - 105 Comments The next version of Mac system software is called macOS Sierra, it’s versioned as Mac OS X 10.12, and it will be available as a free download for all compatible Macs in the fall.
Bug fixes, performance improvements, updates for compatibility with later operating systems.
Document sharing now available from the 'File' menu. iCloud sharing and document compatibility with HorizonTouch for iPad. Awful
This thing crashes constantly. It's basically unusable. I want my money back, but no idea how to go about getting it back.
Developer Response,
No one else has reported crashing problems, and Apple has not sent us any crash logs. Perhaps the problem is with your machine or OS install, rather than with our app?

I rank myself in the former, and being able to pin every single thing I do with my money to the day I did it makes my life much, much easier. Version 2 actually improved on the interface in similar fashion to the jump from OS 9 to OS X; an awesome improvement to an already strong product. Horizon's developer is also excellent with feedback and takes feature request quite seriously.
Also, CATEGORIES! With the flick of a mouse, I can literally find out how much I spent on fast food on the 3rd sunday of August, or on liquor on my sister's birthday. No formulas to figure out. No tabs to open. Not one single line of text need be entered. Just set the date range you want and look over to the right. One teeny-tiny request Finally, I will warn that there is little instructional support available for this app, save for the help menu and easy as it is to figure out yourself. Caveat emptor, and all. Do yourself a favor, first download the free trial from the developer's site, and see if it's not better than the competition. Calendars were a great idea for tracking time. Turns out it's a great idea for tracking finances, as well. Developer Response,

We realize that the concept is not easy to grasp for everyone, and are constantly looking for ways to better explain and demonstrate the advantages of Horizon.
Dissatisfied Customer
Re-occuring feature does not work! Bills shows up for the first couple of months but then suddenly disappears a few months down the line. Emailed support and got no answer. Seems like it could be a pretty neat app only if all the features worked! Not worth $29.99!!
Developer Response,
We have no record of anyone ever contacting us with this problem. We respond to every email we receive, as other reviewers have noted.
